Electricity Market License Regulation (“Regulation”) has been published in the Official Gazette numbered 28809 and came into force on the date of 2nd November of 2013. This Regulation has been regulated on based of the Code of Electricity Market and its purpose; to determine the procedures and principles about the pre-licensing and licensing implementations and the rights and obligations of pre-licensing and licensee.
The Electricity Market License Regulation dated on the 4th August of 2002 and published on the Official Gazette numbered 24836 had been repealed with the entry into force of this Regulation.
Business subjected to the licensing and the exceptions, the basic provisions about the pre-licensing and licensing; the implementations of pre-licensing and licensing which have to be transacted by legal entity who wants to operate in the electricity market and the application documents for Energy Market Regulatory Board; legal entities’ rights and obligations with the implementation of pre-licensing and licensing and measurement standards about the pre-licensing implementations which are subjected to wind and solar energy have been regulated in the Electricity Market License Regulation.
