He became a professor of Administrative Law in 1996. From 2001 to 2003, he directed the Legal Knowledge Databank Project (“Hukuk Bilgi Bankası Projesi”) at the Supreme Court. He taught Administrative Law, Zoning law and Urban Transformation Law at Istanbul University, Kocaeli University Faculty of Law and some private universities. He is also the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of GYODER (Gayrimenkul ve Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı Dernegi – The Association of Real Estate and Real Estate Investment Companies), the President of the Urban Transformation and Law Platform and the Vice-Chairman of the Anatolian Side Construction Contractors Association.
