Under the short description of definitions in the Act;
Reserved Construction Area: New residential areas will be designated for the implementations within the scope of this Act by the Council of Ministers depending the proposal of TOKI or Administration or ex officio.
Hazardous Area: Areas that are at risk of causing loss of life and property due to soil structure or the settlements and determined by the Council of Ministers on proposal of TOKİ, Ministry or Administration.
Hazardous Building: Building that had completed its economical life in or out of Hazardous Area; the risk of demolition or severe damage has been determined by scientific and technical data.
“The Law Amending the Land Register Law and Cadastre Law”, numbered 6302, has entered into force by publishing in the Official Gazette numbered 28296 on May 18, 2012.
According to the Law; as required by the interests of Turkey, foreign real persons who are citizens of the countries determined by the Council of Ministers, may acquire limited real rights and real estate in Turkey.
The total area of the real estate, independent and temporary limited real rights owned by foreign real persons, shall not exceed the ten percent of the town land area subject to private property and thirty hectares per capita throughout the country. The Council of Ministers is authorized to increase the amount that can be owned throughout the country up to twice.
The foreign trade companies having legal personality established under the laws of their country, can only own real estate or limited real rights in accordance with the provisions of special laws.
